^{I'm back... Skye muttered to herself as she stood on one of the many docks and stared out at the horizon. Her now pink and black hair blew swiftly in the slight breeze around her and she just smiled as she took in all the familar scenery. Summer had been a blast, but she was kind of glad to be back at the familar boarding school. She looked up at the darkening sky and let out a content sigh. She leaned up against the railing of the dock and looked around. The harbor was one of the best places to be at sunset, but for Skye it brought back so many memories of her past. She was glad she hadn't been kicked out of this boarding school yet, but she also knew 2 people that were most likely still here as well and she could guess this year would be full of boy drama again. She could never pick between Ryan and Kei, so she always ended up breaking their hearts and causing them so much pain when she would run back to the other. Her heart was torn into two and she wished she would just make up her mind already, but that would never happen, especially with Skye. She wondered if she had made the right decision with staying at this school, but she soon convinced herself that she had. She slid down one of the rails until she ended up sitting upong the wooden planks of the dock. She stared up at the sky and slowly closed her eyes, taking in the sounds of the ocean and the cool breeze upon her smooth skin. Her mind soon began to wonder back to CABS, one of her old boarding school, and everything that had happend there. Last year she was transferred her and then same things that had happend at CABS had happend here, so she knew it was bound to happen again this year. She crossed her arms over her chest and opened her eyes before staring out at the horizon again, wondering about all the possibilities that this school year would bring...}

Ryan was out for a walk. Trying to clear his head of his thoughts. Trying to figure out how life was going to go this year. Life was never easy for Ryan Atwood. Never would be. Walking out onto a dock. He didn't pay attention as he walked and stumbled slightly on an uneven board. Glancing around. He then saw her. The girl he had loved for two years straight, and still loved. His first love, Skye. He tried to decide if he should speak or just keep going, then deciding he may as well at least sit down since she probably noticed him by the noise he mad when he stumbled.

Slipping into a sitting position beside her without saying any words, he looked at her. His electric blue eyes searching hers for feeling. To see if she had missed him, to see if she still loved him. His face didn't really show much emotion. His hands moved behind him to brace him as he leaned back slightly. His face not leaving Skye's. He couldn't believe how gorgeous she was. Her hair was different, he noticed that, and it looked spectacular on her. He loved it, he loved how she didn't have to be like every other girl alive. He loved how she took lots of chances and risks. He loved her. Period. End of story.

^{Skye jumped at the noise that had come from behind her and turned her head to see what had made the noise. She froze when she saw the guy that had been her on and off boyfriend for around 2 years or more. She opened her mouth to say something, but she didn't know what to say so she just shut her mouth and looked back out at the horizon once more. She ran her hand through her long hair and let out a sigh. Now what am I going to do? Skye thought to herself as she watched Ryan, out of the corner of her eye, sit down beside her and look at her. She finally got the courage and looked over at Ryan so she was now staring directly into his electric blue eyes. Hey... Skye finally said after she had had enough of the silence. She was now pretty sure that this year would be just as eventful as last year. So.....what have you been up to? Skye said after staying silent for a few minutes. She could feel the tension in the air somewhat...well at least her tension. She was rather nervous at that moment because she didn't want to do anything to hurt him again, but at the same time she was still in love with him...she always would be, no matter who she was with. He had been her first true love, she had done so much with him and she would never beable to forget any of it. She believed he was also the guy that took her virginity away...if she remembered correctly and she would never beable to forget him because of that. She let out a somewhat content sigh and laid back on the dock as she stared up at the sky and waited to see what Ryan would say...}

He listened to her voice and replied after she asked him what he had been up to. Nothing. You? his voice was low and quiet. His eyes continued to look into hers until she lied down, looking up at the sky. He turned his head towards the sky as well. Letting out a soft sigh. This was hard. He loved this girl, and yet, he didn't trust her, not fully at least, after everything they'd been through, everything she'd done to him, and he'd done to her, it was hard to trust anyone after some of the things that had happened. He closed his eyes slowly. His thoughts continuing to run through his heads, but he forced himself to think of happier things, like the fact that Skye was here, with him, now.

^{Nothing much, just hanging out and getting ready for the start of a new school year. Skye said as she looked over at Ryan and then looked back out at the horizon once more. This year was defenatly going to be interesting, now that she knew Ryan and Kei were both here. She looked down at thw wooden plank that she was sitting on and sighed a little bit. Ryan was her best friend/on and off boyfriend. She was rather surprised that they were able to continue being such good friends after all that she had done to him. Kei was another one of her on and off again boyfriends, but he was different because he was also her drama teacher. She always knew that everytime she went back to Kei, she was breaking Ryan's heart...she had never been able to stop though and she hated it. Kei was like a drug and Skye was addicted to him..always running back to him when she felt the need to. She finally looked at Ryan and smiled before she suddenly tackled him playfully. She started laughing and trying to pin him down, the whole time she was hoping that the past could be forgotten about for that one night at least.}

Ryan listened to her speak and grinned. Interesting. he replied sarcastically, but in a nice way, not a jackass way, hey, its not every day Ryan's sarcastic, or making jokes... Or... Well.. Being non-serious. He always seemed to be serious, and rarely spoke, if you didn't notice the one word reply.. Or the two word reply from before.

He watched her smile then looked down before feeling her pouncing on him and trying to pin him down. Oh, I don't think so. he said playfully. Wrapping his arms around her and rolling towards the edge of the dock and to the water. If things went right, she would fall into the water and he would get to laugh at her from his dry spot on the dock. He was still grinning and laughing. His blue eyes seemed to shimmer, he never had fun anymore.. Not since... He quickly rid himself of the thought and got ready to push Skye off the dock.

(probably the most shittiest post ever...)

^{Skye screamed as both her and Ryan went rolling towards the edge of the dock. She knew the water would be freezing cold and she really didn't want to get wet, but she was having some fun at least and she knew Ryan would keep her warm afterwards. She finally went tumbling into the water with a splash. She finally surface after a few seconds and she started laughing like crazy. You're so going to pay for that. She said with a smile and as she started to shiver a bit. She swam around a bit to try and keep warm and then grabbed Ryan's arm and tried to pull him into the water with her. This was the life with Ryan that she had missed so much. She loved how care free they could get around eachother and how crazy they acted when it was just the two of them. She just wished the past had never happened, but what had been done was done and she couldn't take any of it back....}

Ryan grinned as he saw Skye fall into the freezing water and as soon as she grabbed him , he knew he would be following her in quickly. He fell in with a splash and popped up from under the cold water. His arms snaking around Skye and then he forced himself to sink. Pulling her down with him. After a minute he popped up again. Skye still in his arms. I hate you. he teased. He looked into her eyes as he let go of her and slowly sunk down into the water, to where she couldn't see him and swam around behind her and carefully came up and then popped his head up and poked Skye's back. Trying to scare her. He knew it probably wouldn't work.
