Delilah put her key into the lock of the door. She pushed on the door, and watched as it swung open, showing Delilah her new home....
Yes.... free at last!
She thought to herself. She was so happy to be away from home. She was tierd of her dads afair and her moms drinking. She was ready for a break. She stood in the doorway, almost afraid to walk into her new room. Delilah glanced to her left, then to her right.
What am I waiting for?
She was unsure why it was hard to walk into her room. She was so happy to be gone that the decision to go away to boarding school seemed soooo easy. She couldnt wait any longer, and walked in. She set her suitcase on the bed, then layed her bag carrying her lap top and various other things on the desk next to the window. Her room wasnt large, but it wasnt small either. She walked over to her closet and opened up the double doors.

Lots of room for her clothes! She turned to her things and walked into her private bathroom. Her father ahd paid extra for her to have one of the nicer rooms. Though he was bribing her in a way, she was glad she had her own bathroom. She turned on the light in the bath room and glanced around. She had a bath-shower combo. However her tub looked nice enough, she new she would be taking plenty of bubble baths. She walked back out of the bathroom and thought seriously about putting her things away. She walked over to her suitcase and unzipped the smallest compartment where she found some lipgloss and a brush. She made her way back over to the bathroom and glanced in the mirror before proceeding to brush her hair and re-aply her pale red lipgloss. Then she headed out her door, locking it behind her. She could always unpack later, now it was time to explore the campus.
